00 - 00:12: You are lying on the bed of Room 8.
A man walks to the door.
12 : He closes the door and locks it.
38 - 01:44: A fly circles the microphone.
26 : You can hear a child call out.
52 : You can hear another child.
17 - 06:50: A very nice bird. Does his song reverberate?
20 - 10:12: The sound of thunder on the freeway.
29 - 10:37: A bird persists in the desert.
01 : A sound in the hallway, like an un-locking.
36 - 16:44: "Mom! … Mom!"
00: : You can't hear it, but I'm in the swimming pool.
40 : A child. An airplane. An unveiling.
17 - 22:45: "Housekeeping. Coming in."
20 - 23:40: The dove outside the door.
23 : Coarse, hearty laughter.
30 - 31:46: I thought it was a helicopter.
12 - 32:32: A child learning new sounds.
01 - 35:00: A volley of birdsong, punctuated by the same child.
34 : In the hallway, a man seats himself at a table.
08 - 38:13: No birdsong, it seems, for several seconds.
04 : A man gets up from the table.
14 : A key in a lock
21 : The door to Room 8 opens.
29 - 39:42: The man crosses the room.
00 : End.
